How to use it
Choose how many months ahead to list. The tool generates every Tuesday (Nifty weekly), the last Tuesday of each month (monthly), and every Thursday (Sensex) and marks monthly expiries. It does not remove holidays.
Limitations of the Expiry Calendar
What this tool does not model — read before relying on any number it shows:
- It generates dates purely from the current weekday convention (Nifty Tuesday, Sensex Thursday as of September 2025) — it is not a feed of official exchange dates, so it cannot reflect ad-hoc changes.
- It does not remove trading holidays; a holiday on an expiry weekday shifts that expiry to the previous trading day, which the list does not show.
- Only Nifty and Sensex are covered; other indices (Bank Nifty, FinNifty) are monthly-only since November 2024 and coincide with the monthly last-Tuesday date shown.
- Always confirm any date you plan to act on against the official NSE/BSE calendar — the tool is a planning aid, not the record.
